Challenges

  • The construction of road infrastructure is a process that depends on a number of factors. For example, the "recipes" used for road surfacing can vary significantly according to weather conditions. The legal environment surrounding road construction is complex and needs to be understood.

  • Contractors on construction sites often have to make decisions quickly, requiring analysis of technical data from multiple sources, some of which evolve in real time. 

Solutions

  • We integrated intelligent dashboards into the software solutions offered by our customer.

  • The data came from a number of sources, some of them from GPS-enabled censors placed on the various construction sites.

Results

  • Better information sharing between different industry stakeholders

  • More relevant decision-making tools with real-time information.

  • This new feature in their software will have boosted sales
